How do I change my email address in my Yahoo account?

The spam and marketing emails are terrible. I must make some kind of a change.
All you can do is create a new account. If your spam is in the spam folder, don’t give it a 2nd thought. Just don’t look in that folder. Yahoo! empties it for us every 3-4 days or so. If in your In Box, then creating a new account is really your only option. If you get a lot of those forwards that go through lots and lots of computers by the time the long list of people it’s gone to gets to you, that can cause the problem, especially if you open them all and click on any links in them. I got tired of the spam too. But when I created a new Yahoo! account, I gave the address to no one. I only use it for this site. I’ve never received any spam, not even in the Spam folder, and it’s been 4+ months. I’ve been using Gmail for my personal email for over a year, and NEVER get spam.
