You don’t have to go to new – contact and do what I did in this video, that is only for people who are not in your friend list, only subscribers. – If the person whom you wish to remove from your subscriber list has an open account, that hasn’t been closed or suspended, than to remove them, you can simply go to their channel and click the block link there. – Also, don’t forget to unblock the person who you unsubscribe (if you wish to do so) after you have blocked them, by simply clicking the unblock link, by going to Account-Address Book-Blocked users and click their username and then Unblock. UPDATE: YouTube has removed the “delete subscriber” button from the page where you display your list of subscribers. So never mind, I guess… o_O The purpose of this video was mainly to poke a hole in the competitive push for high subscriber counts and help get as many people as possible to focus on what’s more important here. And as for what’s more important here, that’s up to you. The answer won’t be the same for everyone. Youtube have recently added a REMOVE button underneath the username of each person who is subscribed to you, to make it very easy to remove subscribers from your youtube account whom you don’t want being subscribed to you. To use this feature, simply go to your youtube channel by clicking on your username at the top of this page, and find your subscribers box on your channel, if you don’t see your subscribers box anywhere on your channel, go up to the top of your channel page, and click on Modules, and then make sure the check box next to subscribers is checked, and then click the save changes button, and you should then have your subscribers box on your channel. Once you find your subscribers box, click on the number of subscribers that you have, or click see all at the bottom, and you can view and go through all of your subscribers, and once you find the username of the person whom you want to remove from your subscribers list, hover over their username and click the REMOVE button under their username and click ok, and they will be removed instantly from your subscribers list. Sorry for the bit of noise in the video, not sure what caused it, but I recorded this video on my new laptop with win 7 instead of my other computer with xp.
How to delete subscribers from your youtube account, I just thought I’d make an updated version, since I’ve been getting a lot of comments from people about there being no more Subscribers link under My Network when you go to your account settings, and a bit of confusion on how to delete closed/suspended accounts now. Here’s a basic summary of what I tell you in the vid: ● To delete closed/suspended accounts from your subscribers list: ► Go to your channel and find your subscribers box, and click on the number of subscribers you have, and go through and find the account or accounts that you want to delete from your list. Once you do that, you can either copy the username, (ex- a username like “firestorm”) by highlighting it, and copying it like that, if the username doesn’t cut off, but if it does cut off, (ex- a username like firestorm54…) right click on the username that you want to remove, and click copy link location, and then paste what you copied into your address bar, and then copy the persons username from there, then hover over your username at the top, click account and then go to your address book, and then click new, contact from over on the left side of the page and fill in the info there, and click save and then click the block button at the top to remove the subscriber from your subscribers list. ● To delete an open account from your subscribers list: ► Go to your channel and find your subscribers box, and click on the number of subscribers you have …
